ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the correlation between the index of hemodynamics in perinatal period and retinopathy of prematurity(ROP), so as to provide basis for the better prevention and treatment of ROP.Methods:From May 2017 to April 2019, the preterm infants were admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University at birth and were hospitalized for more than 2 weeks, gestational age ≤ 35 weeks and birth weight ≤ 2 500 g. They were selected as the study objects. The perinatal data including heart rate, blood pressure, patent ductus arteriosus, ventricular septal defect, and NT-proBNP level on the 1 st, 7 th and 14 th day, respectively after birth were collected. They were divided into ROP group and non ROP group according to the results of the retinopathy screening report. The influencing factors of ROP were screened out by univariate analysis and multivariate regression analysis. Results:A total of 1 119 subjects were included, 105 infants with ROP were detected, and the prevalence of ROP was 9.4%.Among them, 12 cases of pre-threshold lesion type 1 and threshold lesions required treatment, accoun-ting for 1.07% of screened preterm infants .Univariate analysis and multivariate regression analysis revealed that gestational age, birth weight, total oxygen therapy time, and intrauterine growth restriction were all factors affecting ROP, and 2 hemodynamic related indicators, such as the level of NT-proBNP in plasma on the 14 th day after birth, and placenta previa or abruption were also related to ROP( OR=0.604, 0.647, 1.276, 2.361, 1.688 and 2.506, respectively, all P<0.05). Conclusion:The hemodynamic changes in perinatal period may be involved in the formation of ROP, and it is necessary to further clarify its mechanism.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo explore the efficacy of local acupuncture therapy on post-stroke pseudo-bulbar palsy and the clinical advantageous protocol of local acupuncture therapy.

METHODSEighty patients of post-stroke pseudo-bulbar palsy were randomized into a quick needle insertion group and a routine acupuncture group, 40 cases in each one. The western medicine, such as thrombolysis, lipid regulation, antiplatelet aggregation, antihypertension and hypoglycemic therapy method was all used in the two groups. On the basis of the treatment of western medicine, in the quick needle insertion group, the perpendicular needle insertion was used atpoint, about 8 to 12 mm in depth. When the emptiness feeling presented under the needle, the needle went slowly for 2 mm more depth till cough occurred, and removed afterward. The treatment was given once every day, and totally 20 treatments were required. In the routine acupuncture group, Lianquan (CV 23) was stimulated. The needle was inserted toward the tongue root, about 40 mm in depth. The needle was rotated till the patient felt soreness and distention at the tongue root, and then retained for 30 min. The treatment was given once a day, and totally 20 treatments were required. The water swallow test score and clinical efficacy were evaluated before and after treatment.

RESULTSThe curative rate was 80.0% (32/40) in the quick needle insertion group, better than 55.0% (22/40) in the routine acupuncture group (<0.05). The total effective rate was 97.5% (39/40) in the quick needle insertion group and was 90.0% (36/40) in the routine acupuncture group, indicating no significant difference in comparison (>0.05). The water swallow test scores decreased after treatment as compared with those before treatment in the two groups (both<0.01), and the water swallow test scores after treatment of the two groups had no significant difference (>0.05).

CONCLUSIONSAcupuncture at local point is effective for post-stroke pseudo-bulbar palsy. The curative rate of quick needle insertion atpoint is better than routine acupuncture at Lianquan (CV 23).

ABSTRACT

This study was to research the incidence of infants with rotavirus enteritis combined with lactose intolerance and the clinical effect of low lactose milk powder for infantile rotavirus enteritis with lactose intolerance. The control group were 126 cases of infants with diarrhea randomly collected from our hospital at the same period, which their rotavirus detection was negative. The observation group was 185 cases of infants with rotavirus, which was tested to be positive. Through the urine galactose determination, 62 cases of the control group were positive and 124 cases of the observation group were positive. Then 124 cases of infants with rotavirus combined with lactose intolerance were randomly divided into two groups. 60 cases in the control group were given rehydration, correction of acidosis, oral smecta, Intestinal probiotics and other conventional treatment, then continued to the original feeding method. While, 64 cases in the treatment group, on the basis of routine treatment, applied the low lactose milk feeding. To observe the total effective rate for the two groups. The incidence of lactose intolerance in children with rotavirus enteritis [67.03%] was significantly higher than that of children with diarrhea [49.2%], which was tested to be negative. And the difference was statistically significant [p<0.5]. In the aspect of reducing the frequency of diarrhea, and diarrhea stool forming time, the treatment group has the obvious superiority. The total effective rate was 95.4% for treatment group, which was higher than that in the control group [76.7%], the difference was statistically significant [P<0.05]

Conclusion: Infants with rotavirus enteritis was easier to merge with lactose intolerance. The low lactose milk powder could improve the therapeutic effectively and could reduce the duration of disease, and restored to normal diet for 2 weeks feeding time

ABSTRACT

2124 neonates were monitored from February 2013 to August 2014, among which 1119 were admitted from outpatient department [outpatient group], 782 were transferred from other departments [other department group], and 223 were from other hospitals [other hospital group]. Through it we explore the distribution of multidrug resistant organism in neonates, which were admitted to the hospital through various ways, and therefore analyze the risk factors of nosocomial infection to avoid cross infection of multi drug resistant organism in neonatology department. The results showed that 105 strains of multi drug resistant bacteria were detected in the neonatal department. Among them, there were 57 strains from the outpatient group, 27 from the other department group, and 21 from the other hospital group. Neonates with the hospitalization time of more than 14 days and low birth weight infants [1500 g] were the high-risk groups of drug-resistant strains in nosocomial infection. So the infection in neonates from other departments or hospitals should be strengthen, especially the prevention and control in neonates with the hospitalization time than 14 days and low birth weight infants [1500 g] in order to reduce the occurrence of multiple drug-resistant strains cross infection
